Private food circles with people you trust — not influencers, not algorithms, not strangers.
Algorithms serve ads. Influencers sell hype. You drive 40 minutes and get cardboard pasta. There has to be a better way.
Viral ≠ good
Sponsored reels and paid reviews make it impossible to know what's genuinely worth eating.
Saved lists go nowhere
120 bookmarks, zero context. You forget what you saved, where it was, and why it mattered.
Discovery is a gamble
Anonymous ratings from strangers don't tell you if the reviewer shares your taste — or is a bot.
Simple mechanics built entirely on real trust between real people.
See something tempting on Instagram or YouTube? Share it to BunBun. Our AI parses the content and pins the exact dish on your private map.
Tried it? Add your stamp. Your circle sees your real verdict — not a star rating lost in a sea of strangers.
Add only the people whose food opinions you genuinely trust. No strangers, no algorithms — just your people.
No more copy-pasting addresses or hunting for restaurant names. Our parser reads Instagram and YouTube content, extracts the dish, identifies the restaurant, and pins it on your map — automatically.
Whether it's a permanent mobility requirement, a sleeping baby in a stroller, or a temporary injury from last weekend's game — BunBun logs structural accessibility so you know exactly how easily you can roll right in.
Never. BunBun is built on a single idea: trust between real people. This is not a marketing platform and has nothing to do with influencer culture. There are no advertisements in BunBun — not now, not ever. The entire point is that recommendations mean something because they come from people you actually know. Advertisers have no place in that, which is why your data will never be sold, rented, or shared with any third party for their own purposes.
Your Google account email and name (login only), the dishes you stamp or wishlist, any photos you upload, restaurant addresses tied to your dishes, social media URLs you submit to the parser — the caption or transcript is deleted immediately once you approve or cancel — your push notification token if you grant permission, your friend connections, payment transaction records, and your accessibility preference and any votes you contribute. That's it.
Because the whole point is to catch the right moment. When you're physically near a place on your wishlist — or somewhere a buddy has stamped — BunBun alerts you before you walk past it. Without background location access, that can only happen when you have the app open, which defeats the purpose. Importantly, your coordinates are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to our servers.
No marketing emails, no promotional blasts, no "we miss you" nudges — ever. Notifications only fire for three things: a buddy request, a re-stamp from a friend, or when you are physically near a dish on your wishlist or stamped by someone in your circle. That last one is the whole reason the app needs location access. You can turn notifications off at any time via Profile → Settings.
Yes, at any time, directly from Profile → Settings. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed. Payment records are the only exception — those are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations, which is standard practice worldwide.
BunBun has a community-powered accessibility layer. Venues that qualify earn an "Easy Access" badge on their food card — visible to everyone in your circle. It's a real signal from people who actually needed accessible access and found it, whether that's a wheelchair ramp, a stroller-friendly entrance, or easy access for a temporary injury.
During onboarding, BunBun asks whether you need mobility assistance when reaching places. If you say yes, that preference is stored privately. Whenever you then stamp a dish, BunBun asks two follow-up questions: was the route to this place accessible, and was the entrance accessible? Answer yes and the Easy Access badge is added to the food card. Answer no and no tag is applied. The voting authority is reserved exclusively for users who indicated a mobility requirement — so the badge can't be gamed. Your individual vote is never attributed publicly.
Share an Instagram Reel or YouTube Short with BunBun. Our AI reads the caption or spoken audio, identifies the dishes and the restaurant, maps the location, and shows you the result to review. You approve or discard each item — nothing is added to your list without your confirmation.
It works best with food-focused Reels where specific dishes are mentioned — named in the caption or talked about in the video. A Reel that's all atmosphere with no food detail won't have much to extract. The same logic applies to YouTube Shorts: the more food-specific the content, the better the result.
You always see and approve the output before anything is saved. Think of it as a draft you confirm, not an auto-save. Nothing lands in your list without your explicit sign-off.
Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. More platforms are on the roadmap.
No. There is no public profile. Only people you have manually accepted as buddies can see your list.
By their email address. You search for someone by email, send them a buddy request, and they see nothing of your list until they accept. You are not discoverable to the general public.
You can remove a buddy at any time. Their content disappears from your feed immediately.
It means you don't create yet another password that could be breached. Google handles authentication; we only receive your email address and name.
Yes, completely. The free tier never expires: 40 dishes, 10 buddies, and 3 AI parse credits — no trial period, no credit card required, no hidden countdown.
Nothing happens automatically. The app will let you know you're at the limit. You only pay if you choose to buy a Boost pack. We will never charge you without you initiating it.
No. It is a one-time purchase — that capacity is yours permanently. No subscriptions, no renewals, no surprise charges six months later. You pay once and you own it.
No. You sign in with your Google account. No payment details are ever required until you decide to buy something optional.

You saved that reel three weeks ago. The one with the perfect-looking bowl of ramen. You drive there, you order, you're disappointed. You come back hangry.
Or worse — you reach the place and you can't even remember what you saved. You panic-order something random. You come back hangry.
Or the classic: your friend swears by this one spot. You make the drive. You call them to ask what to order. They don't pick up. You guess. You come back hangry.
Every time.
Bun-Bun exists because we got tired of being hangry.
Parse a reel directly into your wishlist — dish name, outlet, notes, all extracted automatically. No more vague saves. When you're standing outside a restaurant, you know exactly what to order.
When you're somewhere new, open the app and see what people you actually trust have already stamped. Not strangers. Not paid reviews. Your circle.
Every dish in your wishlist is pinned to a location. Find what's near you, see what to order, and walk in with a plan.
